WHOÂ AM I ?
Hi, my name is Emmeran Johnson and I am really passionate about two things: football and maths. I created this blog in the hope of combining them. I am a PhD student at Imperial College London where I study theoretical machine learning problems. I am a lifelong Liverpool fan - YNWA.
WHY DID I START THIS ?
In my free time, I like to analyse football data and want to share it with others. I initially started following the YouTube channel Friends of Tracking a couple of years ago where data scientists from various clubs discuss their work. They have also an online course on mathematical modelling of football. If you are interested in this type of thing, I highly recommend taking a look: https://uppsala.instructure.com/courses/28112.
